Glow sticks are one of the coolest things, especially on the 4th of July while waiting for the fireworks show to start. Those solar lights you can put in your yard to light a footpath are pretty awesome, too.
The thing is, both of these things need to be under the influence of light to make them glow or shine. I think that’s what being under the influence of the One who calls Himself “The Light of the World” should do – give us light for our pathway and make us shine in the dark!
My heart eyes see more clearly when I’ve spent time in His presence and it affects how I live and what I can offer to the darkness around me.
